Host agreement
What you agree to when you lend.
You keep the rental. Cover follows the value you declare. Ours For Now does not pay damage above that cover. Ours For Now is not the insurer.
These are Ours For Now’s rules. A lawyer where you operate should review them before a real card is charged. The sentences that limit Ours For Now are meant to be read, not hidden.
You are the one lending
You list an item you own, or that you have the right to lend. Ours For Now lists it and takes the guest’s request. Ours For Now does not become the owner, and Ours For Now does not insure the item.
By publishing, you agree to these rules.
What you earn
You enter the replacement value. The daily price is 1% of that value, at least $5. You keep the rental total for the nights that are confirmed. The guest pays Ours For Now’s fee on top. Ours For Now does not take the rental to pay a damage claim.
The cover is not your insurance
Cover is 0.5% of the value you declare, per day, at least $1. It is shown before the guest confirms.
The host declared the value. Ours For Now does not pay damage above that cover. Ours For Now is not the insurer.
If the cover does not pay the loss
The guest still owes you the full loss, including every dollar above the cover. That debt is owed to you, not to Ours For Now.
Ours For Now does not have to pay you the difference, chase the guest, or make you whole. You declared the value. Lending the item means you accept that Ours For Now will not pay damage above that cover.
Your own cover
Your home, renters, or auto policy may refuse a claim once you lent the item for money. You are responsible for knowing whether your policy covers a lend. Ours For Now does not review your policy and does not fill a gap your insurer leaves.
Vehicles
A trailer or vehicle cannot go live until you confirm it is registered and legal to hire, and that it has insurance. That confirmation is yours. Ours For Now does not provide the insurance. A crash, an injury, or a total loss is between you, the guest, and that insurance.
The item itself
You describe it honestly, including faults you know about. You hand it over in the condition you described, safe for the ordinary use you wrote down. If a claim comes from the item being unsafe or not as described, you cover Ours For Now’s losses and reasonable legal costs from that claim.
The limit on Ours For Now
Ours For Now’s responsibility to you for a booking is limited to the fee Ours For Now kept on that booking. Ours For Now is not liable for the unpaid part of a damage claim, for a guest who will not pay, for your lost income, or for indirect loss.
Laws that do not allow a limit for death, personal injury, or fraud still apply. If a sentence here cannot be enforced, the other sentences stay in force.
